Hexaflip from mastermind David Marquardt (Super Glitch Dash) is at its core a simple action puzzler in which players move a hexagonal tile across grids while avoiding various hazards. But through tight, tailored controls, intense and challenging level design, and an incredible attention to detail, the game overachieves in every regard.
Put another way, Hexaflip is downright addicting and it looks and sounds freakin’ amazing. More proof that polish is imperative: it even runs at up to 120 frames per second on iPad Pro—put that in your coffee and chug it, next-gen console owners.
